Theresa and Dave have over 33 years of experience in the upholstery industry.
Dave is a City and Guilds-qualified upholsterer. He joined Parker Knoll in 1979 as one of the first apprentices at the Chipping Norton site. As an apprentice he was required to have experience in all aspects of furniture production: from building frames,
through to final trim and inspection.
Theresa joined Wesley Barrell, in Charlbury, in 1982 as a
machinist and then moved on to upholstery. She then joined Parker Knoll in 1985 as a machinist, working with a wide range of machines and cover types.
Having both moved on to other careers, they have now returned to upholstery to develop new products, restore older furniture and offer a full service by providing soft furnishings such as cushions and curtains for your home.
“As operations Manager for Parker Knoll Chipping Norton I had the pleasure of working with both Dave & Theresa for over 20 years.
I would have no hesitation in recommending their ability to produce high end fabric & upholstery items to an exacting standard through outstanding craftmanship and commitment.
Both their attention detail and commitment to providing first class customer service is a real credit to them both.”
